Waynesboro 38 - Gettysburg 12 - For a third straight week the Indians have been favored going into a contest, however, for the first time the Indians came away with a win and built up some moment going into a strong conference opening game against the still undefeated Shippensburg Greyhounds. The Indians were in the drivers seat the whole night as their rushing attack kept the pedal down all night, receiving scores from Brady Riddell, Mason Frampton, Brady Beckner and Forrest Rhyne.
Greencastle 16 - East Pennsboro 28 - While Greencastle was unable to secure their first win of the season, progress can certainly be seen. Greencastle was within one secore of A strong East Pennsboro team until less than 5 minutes remained in the game. Greencastle's defense was also able to hold East Pennsboro pass game to 3 total completions for the game.
Big Spring 17 - Boiling Springs 14 - Credit Big Spring's fast start, as the Bull Dogs built a 17-0 lead in the first, for this victory. Big Spring was lead buy a rushing attack featuring Jaret Petty, Ryan Adams, and Zack Hasco all of who averaged over 7 yards per carry on the night. However points were hard to come by after that first quarter as Boiling Springs deference was able to settle down and make this game a dog fight.
James Buchanan 0 - Camp Hill 46 - Nothing to see here, a stronger Camp Hill team got up early and James Buchanan was unable to provide any resistance. Bill Williams of Camp Hill accounted for touchdowns passing, rushing and receiving in this one.
Mifflin County 7 - State College 51 - If you were looking for a game, you were in the wrong place. Prohibitive favorite State College was up 31-0 and did to Mifflin County, what they have done to each of their opponents so far - left no doubt.
Northern York 27 - Mechanicsburg 21 - While The Wizard of Oddz picked this game correctly, it took Northern York ever minute last minute of the game to prove The Wizard correct. Curtis Robinson scored the go ahead touchdown with less than a minute left in the game to get the Polar Bears the win. Give some love to special teams here as well as Aiden Alves went 3 for 3 on extra points and converted on 2 field goals.
Shippensburg 28 - Bermudian Springs 24 - Bermudian Springs gave it their all in this early season battle of unbeatens, however in the end Shippensburg remains the lone team standing undefeated in the Mid-Penn Colonial. This win can be attributed in large part to the dynamic duo of Carter VanScyoc who through for 300+ and 3 TD's and Cody Gustafson who went over the century mark for the third straight game in receiving yards.
West Perry 6 - Middletown 35 - West Perry was unable to contain Jaelen Thompson as he rushed for 169 yards and 3 touchdowns on just 9 carries. Middletown scored all 35 points in the first half.
The Wizard of Oddz Results - The Wizard had an unblemished record this week going 8-0 and finishing the non-conference slate of games with a 20-4 record.
