Mid-Penn Colonial Division - Week 7 Round Up

The Wizard of Oddz breaks down the Week 7 High School Football results for the Mid-Penn Colonial Conference, as well as providing links to related articles and statistics.

The Wizard for the 4th time this year went undefeated in selecting the winners of the Mid-Penn Colonial Conference football games.

Big Spring 7 - Waynesboro 35 - Waynesboro was in cruise control for most of this game, jumping out to a 21 - 0 1st quarter lead. While the Bulldogs' Ryan Adams went over the 1,000 yard mark for the season, this was also the first game where he was held under 100 yards rushing on the season. On the other hand, the Indians' Brady Beckner went for 159 yards and 2 Tds on 13 rushes. Beckner is now only 99 yards short of 1,000 on the season.

Northern York 23 - Mifflin County 0 - After blow out wins against Greencastle & James Buchanan and a close loss to Shippensburg, Mifflin County looked to be making a run at the Mid-Penn Colonial conference, however Norther York had other ideas. Mifflin County held Mifflin County to under 100 yards rushing and under 100 yards passing. Dylan Baxter was the deciding factor in this one with 6 receptions for 143 yds and a 1 Td.

Shippensburg 27 - Greencastle 0 - Another game that was won on the ground. The Greyhounds Adam Houser went for 190 yards and touchdown to lead the Greyhounds to their 10th straight regular season victory. The Greyhounds sit at top of the Mid-Penn Colonial Division at 4-0 with Waynesboro and Big Springs sitting one back at 3-1. The Greyhounds also sit at 2nd in the District 3 Power Rankings in AAAA.

The Wizard of Oddz Results - The Wizard went 4 - 0 on the week raising his total record to 35-5 on the season in predicting games.
