With the start of the 2016 high school football season nearing, the Mid-Penn Colonial Division says goodbye to the East Pennsboro Panthers, but also welcomes the West Perry Mustangs and the Mifflin County Huskies due to the conference realignment.
However, the Mustangs and Huskies are not the only additions to the Mid-Penn Colonial Division, The Wizard of Oddz launched its website July 29 and will be featuring the Mid-Penn Colonial Division football season for its 2016 launch.
The Wizard of Oddz is a site that was developed to provide fans, athletes, coaches and the public in general, with valuable, unique, and unbiased insight into the high school football season.
Specifically, The Wizard of Oddz has developed a unique algorithm that weights the strength of each team based on its prior performance, and the number that is calculated is called the team's Power Ranking. A team's Power Ranking is then compared to their opponent's current Power Ranking to determine the likelihood that each team has of winning. The higher your team's Power Ranking and the lower your opponent's Power Ranking, the more likely your team's chances are of winning that game.
The Wizard of Oddz also provides team schedules, standings, unique news articles, visitor polls and other sports related information.
